Children and Families

I work with your child’s strengths and needs to create a plan that helps them succeed at home, in school, and in their community. My goal is to explore areas in which the child needs support and how best to address this. Sometimes this may be one-on-one sessions focusing on skill-building, regulation strategies, and working towards goals. Other times, the cost of one-on-one therapy outweighs the benefit. I often see children who are so burnt out by constant appointments that it in fact worsening their problems. In these incidents, I prefer to work with families and caregivers on communication strategies, environmental modification, coregulation, and other PBS strategies.

Who is it for?

Children with or without a formal diagnosis (e.g. autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma) and their families who need support with routines, emotions, or behavior.
